My problem with color before the sun is that there were 2 good songs separated by 3 forgettable songs, and then a pretty decent end of album. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't coheed to me. It was Claudio, but it wasn't coheed. I don't know if that makes sense. The Coheed and Cambria albums are coming out out of sequence; the last album to come out will be the first part of the series. It’s wild how a band essentially makes their entire discography (minus one album) into a concept discography. I’m sure they’re not the first or only but damn I love it. Met Claudio at Comic Con 2010 and he was super cool. Didn’t talk to him much about Coheed because he was there for Amory Wars. Rest assured I already have Year of the Black Rainbow preordered twice over, and hopefully I will get off my lazy ass and put down my thoughts on the album before its ooooold news.
